Associate Project Consultant, Structural Engineering

## About the Role Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is seeking an Associate Project Consultant in Structural Engineering for its Southern California office. SGH is a national engineering firm committed to delivering holistic advice for clients' most complex structural and forensic engineering challenges. ## Responsibilities - Assist with structural engineering design and analysis on building and infrastructure projects - Support forensic investigations and condition assessments of existing structures - Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and technical documents - Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers - Develop technical skills across multiple project types and market sectors ## Qualifications **Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering - 0–3 years of experience (new graduates welcome) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in structural analysis software **Preferred:** - EIT certification or PE pursuit - Coursework or experience in structural mechanics, dynamics, or forensic engineering - Strong written communication skills ## Compensation Predicted salary range: $75,920 – $89,440.
