Mid-Level Structural Engineer

## About the Role MKA is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer for its Seattle or Chicago office. This role offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility on complex structural projects while building technical expertise and client relationship skills. ## Responsibilities - Lead structural design on projects or project components with senior oversight - Perform analysis and develop design documents for buildings in steel, concrete, and timber - Coordinate design with architecture and MEP teams - Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction - Mentor entry-level staff ## Qualifications **Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering - 4–8 years of structural engineering experience - PE license required (or imminent) - Proficiency in ETABS, RAM, or equivalent structural analysis tools **Preferred:** - SE license or pursuit - Experience with high-rise, performing arts, or sports facility projects - Seismic design experience ## Compensation Competitive salary with performance bonuses, profit sharing, and comprehensive benefits.
