Professional Engineer, Structural Engineering

## About the Role SGH is seeking a Professional Engineer in Structural Engineering for its Waltham, MA office. This mid-to-senior level role involves leading structural engineering projects and mentoring junior staff across a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure work. ## Responsibilities - Lead structural design and analysis for new construction and rehabilitation projects - Manage project tasks, budgets, and client communication - Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports - Mentor and develop Associate-level engineers - Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams ## Qualifications **Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering - PE license required - 6–12 years of structural engineering experience - Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, or equivalent **Preferred:** - Experience with forensic engineering or existing building assessment - Strong client-facing communication skills - SE license a plus ## About SGH SGH has been solving the built environment's most complex engineering problems for over 70 years, with offices across the US and a reputation for rigorous, evidence-based structural consulting.
