Project Manager, Structural Engineering

## About the Role Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer/Project Manager for its Chicago office. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams on complex building projects while maintaining client relationships and ensuring technical excellence. ## Responsibilities - Lead project delivery from schematic design through construction administration - Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications - Perform and oversee structural analysis and design of buildings and structures - Mentor and develop junior staff - Build and maintain client relationships to support business development ## Qualifications **Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering - 10+ years of structural engineering experience - PE license required - Demonstrated project management experience **Preferred:** - Experience with large-scale commercial, civic, or mixed-use projects - Strong understanding of steel, concrete, and timber systems - SE license a plus ## About Thornton Tomasetti An independent, employee-owned firm recognized for technical excellence and innovation across disciplines including structural, geotechnical, façade, sustainability, and protective design.
